One of the APEC Transport Working Group’s annual events in 2018 is the APEC China International Railway Conference for Urban&Inter City Transit.The conference covering topics such as railway and urban transport planning, multi-modal transport, investment and financing, and intelligent rail transport, discussing the technical innovation of railway and urban rail transport from the whole life cycle of capital, construction, operation, and maintenance. Mr. Liu Xiaoming, Vice Minister of Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China and representatives from Singapore, Thailand, and other nations participated, which helped to advance technological exchanges and collaboration in the Asia-Pacific region’s transportation sector.
